welcome
I have set up this blog to give those who have read my book on organized crime in Guelph somewhere to contact me. At the moment the books is only onsale at the Bookshelf in Guelph, or through me personally. If you want to buy a buy or order several you can order them from by via jerryprag@gmail.com. I would also urge people who might wish to discuss rumours and anecdotal history to email me first. If I find the material pertinent and can confirm your facts I will be happy to include it on the blog, with whatever personal credit you desire.

Jerry I am so glad to have stumbled across this site. Just like other people have done by googling the family surname. You have answered some of the questions that have been on my mind for quite a while. I am a direct blood relative of 3 of the families on Mrs Ferraro's list. I'm 1 of the grandsons of Francesco Silvestro in Australia who came here in the mid 20's. You actually mentioned him in your blog.My family here is as close as they are in Canada. As a child growing up i was told about some things but didn't really understand the reality of it all. The names on the list, well they are neighbors and family friends and relatives of ours. I have met 2 of my father's cousins from there who were also mentioned. My uncles told me alot about the family and where we hail from.SGM. I am proud to be who I am. I'm as equally proud of what my relatives have done to survive the cruel world in which we live. In reality families that band together,will get through the tough and rough times. I love my family and would do the same thing as they have. Anything to keep the family safe, fed,and together. Mate you pat yourself on the back. Those people who despise what you have done should really think about the next generation.its educational and interesting. I would buy the book/s but I don't know where or how to.
I am in the process of publishing a combined volume of the first three books covering from 1909-1949, just returned the proof to the printer yesterday. It can be bought directly from me, not sure of the price yet or of mailing to Australia. email me at prager_jp@hotmail.com
